I thought these two articles and the video were funny, but accurate. Sometimes in our education system nowadays, we stress the importance of certain subjects only (like in the animal satire) and mandate that students be at least average in all of them. This isn't a good thing! Not every student is going to be proficient in every subject. Each student has their strengths and should be rewarded for them.
In the other article, about technology, it paints a rather scary picture, i think. I hope in a couple decades that teachers are still an integral part of education, and that everything isn't taught or learned online. It would make learning sooo much harder than it has to be, because not every student is going to be able to learn very well online. I believe student-teacher interaction is incredibly important, and if we lose that, I'm not sure how everyone is going to be educated.
